Talking about Urban Public Lighting

Leave a message

City night lighting must create a pleasant atmosphere, but it shouldn't dominate. When there are not many people on the street, the surroundings must still be appropriate and not terrifying. This can prolong the tourists' interest in the city, so that they can appreciate more of it. Residents will also feel comfortable having lights that can identify people or roads.

From parks and plazas to walks and waterfronts, open spaces are an essential part of urban life, and ideal lighting can bring a unique visual experience to these spaces. Warm, fun and uplifting, LED lighting can make these public areas safer and more attractive.

Compared with before, people now have much more requirements for public lighting. Sidewalks and bike paths are more illuminated than before. The demands of traffic mean a lot of lighting is needed on the roads, partly because of the increased traffic density. There is a lot of visual visibility in the basic areas of the city and those at the bottom of the society, where residents expect better lighting than others. Higher lighting on the street can often translate into a sense of safety.

A failed lighting design does have a negative impact on a city, causing it to lose its clarity and not be helpful in achieving the desired beautification effect. If the design is inefficient, it consumes a lot of energy and maintenance costs. Only when the design is good enough and can be called "the beautification of the city" because the design aspects and all the characteristics of the public space have been considered, can such lighting, together with the planning results, give the city a charming style. It's not just a design issue, it's the effect of efficient lighting.
