In modern business competition, the appearance of a hotel not only carries the brand image, but also serves as the first step in attracting customers. Especially after nightfall, how to showcase the hotel's style and personality through scientific and creative lighting design has become a question that every high-end hotel must seriously consider. We will provide you with a comprehensive introduction to hotel facade lighting solutions.
Why do hotels need lighting? What is the significance?
1. Shaping brand image
The exterior of a hotel is the visual symbol of a brand, and a reasonable lighting design can enhance the hotel's style, such as modern simplicity, European retro, luxury and elegance, and enhance brand recognition.
1. Enhance customer experience
Lighting is not just a tool for illumination, but also a means of creating an atmosphere. Whether it's the welcoming entrance, the main building facade, or the atrium and landscape garden, appropriate lighting design can enhance customers' comfort and sense of security in the space.
1. Increase commercial value
Hotel lighting has surpassed its decorative function and become an important component of urban night economy. A hotel that has been beautified by lighting art is more likely to become a local landmark, thereby increasing occupancy rates and media exposure.
Common areas and solutions for hotel facade lighting
1. Exterior facade of the main building
The exterior facade of the main building is the focus of hotel lighting. We suggest using a combination of led mesh screens, floodlights, linear lights, and wall washers for lighting planning based on the building structure.
Linear lights outdoor: used to outline building structural lines, it is recommended to use high brightness linear LED lights, combined with large angle lenses, to achieve uniform light distribution.
Wall washer light: Suitable for illuminating the entire wall, it is recommended to choose different color temperatures (2700K-6000K) for expressing a sense of hierarchy.
Led flood light: used for key decorative structures LOGO, For the key lighting of columns and other parts, it is recommended to use high-power, adjustable lighting angle products.
2. Entrance lobby and welcome area
This is the key area of the customer's first impression, and the lighting scheme needs to balance functionality and aesthetics.
Point lights: applied to glass curtain walls or metal curtain wall structures to create a welcoming light curtain effect.
RGBW system: achieves multi scene atmosphere conversion through intelligent control system, meeting the needs of festivals and daily use.
3. Landscape architecture and water areas
The outdoor landscape area is an indispensable element of high-end hotels.
Underground lights and wall lights: used for path guidance and vegetation projection, adopting IP67 waterproof design to ensure weather resistance.
Neon or silicone light strips: Flexible light strips are easy to shape and suitable for surrounding water features or sculpture lighting.
4. Top level and signage lighting
Video light strips or led grid screens: can be used for dynamic visual effects display, such as holiday animations, hotel names, etc., to enhance the sense of technology and visual impact.
What should be chosen for lighting fixtures?
Based on the high requirements for quality and aesthetics in hotel lighting, the following types of lighting fixtures are recommended:
| Lamp type | Recommended model | characteristic |
| wall washer light | XQ series | High luminous efficiency, uniform light output, optional color temperature |
| led linear light | XT series | Misty face mask, soft light output, multiple sizes to choose from |
| led point light | JD/WD/XD series | High definition pixels, strong waterproofing, easy installation |
| led mesh screen | E series | High transparency, lightweight, visible during the day |
| Video Light Bar | XT series | Can play video text, and the cover supports spray painting of images |
| led flood light | TG series | Can be equipped with a light blocking plate, with high brightness and controllable angle |
Control system configuration solution
In response to the diverse needs of different areas of the hotel, the following control systems are recommended:
1. DMX512 control system
Suitable for building facades, floodlights, point light sources, etc., supporting zone control, timed color change, and strong compatibility.
2. SPI intelligent system
Suitable for high pixel scenes on led mesh screens, supports point-to-point control, and can achieve high grayscale dynamic display.
3. Central control linkage platform
Combining audio and video, time, festival planning, etc. to achieve one click switching of the entire lighting scene, providing support for hotel festival marketing.
