The general voltages of LED linear lights are AC220V, DC12V and DC24V, so it is necessary to select an appropriate switching power supply. The power supply is determined according to the power and connection length of the LED light strip. It should be noted that DC12V and DC24V should not be connected to AC220V, otherwise all lamp beads will be burnt. DC12V cannot be connected to DC24V control power supply; Otherwise, the power will be more than doubled, and it is easy to burn out the lamp beads. AC220V light strip can be directly connected to mains power. RGB seven color LED light strip needs to use a controller to achieve the effect of change. Generally, 4 lines are used to distinguish black, red, green and blue. The colorful light bar is generally a common anode, that is, there is a+12V black wire above the light bar, and the other is a negative pole. RGB is connected to the corresponding red, green and blue interface or power line.
4、 Connection distance of LED linear light:
Generally speaking, the long connection distance of 3528 series LED linear light is 20m, and that of 5050 series LED strip is 15m. If the connection distance is exceeded, the LED line lamp is easy to heat up, which will affect the service life of the LED linear lamp during use. The range of RGB simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, while the range of remote controller is 15 to 20 meters, most of which can control 30 meters. If the connection distance of LED linear lamps is long, and the controller cannot control that long strip, power amplifier shall be used for splicing. Therefore, the installation must be carried out according to the manufacturer's requirements.
